I am a senior web developer with a background in web design. Front-end development is my bread and butter, but I won't shy away from learning new languages and infrastructures.
Over the last decade, I've had the privilege to work on some amazing dev teams and applications, learning a wide-range of languages and tech stacks.
When I'm not developing, you can find me curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee, knitting, or hanging out with my husband and our four kids (two of which are human).
Work Experience
Oct 2020 - current Senior Web Developer - Hudl
Work with the Brand Marketing team to maintain our public-facing web entities and assist with Marketing projects and campaigns owned by the marketing managers. This also includes maintaining and enhancing our CMS platform, making it simple and efficient for a content producer to work in, as well as working with third-party platforms when the project calls for it. Light devops and SEO also come into play on a semi-regular basis.
Apr 2019 - Oct 2022 Web Developer - Firespring, Interactive team
Work with a small team of developers to create web projects for clients on multiple content management systems. Sometimes these projects are large websites that include e-commerce solutions or custom plugins written by the team. Other times, it is a landing page built in Mindfire to collect user data for client campaigns.
Aug 2015 - Apr 2019 Web Application Engineer - Firespring, SBF team
Collaborated with a small team of front- and back-end developers, a quality assurance engineer, and a project manager to maintain a large website containing many different web apps. I used HTML, SCSS, JavaScript and Ruby to create and maintain the client-facing site based on static image files and the client's needs/wishes.
Sep 2014 - Aug 2015 Web Developer/Designer - Ebbeka Design
Designed, developed and maintained custom WordPress themes with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP for clients and in-house marketing. I was also in contact with clients via in-person, phone, and email correspondence as a project manager and support system.
Apr 2011 - Sep 2014 Web Developer - Firespring
Collaborated with others on the Production team to create and maintain client websites on the Springboard. I used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to create and maintain client-facing web designs based on static image files or PSDs that functioned on Firespring's CMS and fulfilled client and internal marketing needs.
